West Hoathly Parish Council wish to know whether the community support the Parish Council taking out a loan to a maximum value of £20,000 repayable over 10 years to fund the Community Archive Project, creating a purpose-built archive store in the Village Hall so that the Local History Archive is available for all.

The work will involve upgrading the old chair and table store in the Village Hall to make it suitable to house the Local History Archive. In order to accommodate the archive store, it will be necessary to replace the existing staircase to the flat.

The annual budget commitment is expected to be approximately £2,126 for the next 10 years. This has been allocated in the precept for 2020/21 and 2021/22
