Future Parish Council and Committee Meeting

The Parish Council, with all eleven members, has continued to meet using Zoom for both full Parish Council meetings and committee meetings during the current lockdown period. The legislation permitting 'remote' meetings ends on 7th May 2021 and the Government has not yet announced if this will be extended. There is a very strong likelihood, due to a lack of Parliamentary time, that there will be no extension. One solution being considered is 'hybrid' meetings where a quorum of members is in the Village Hall and other members, members of the public and our District and County Councillors join via Zoom. We are awaiting guidance from the National Association of Local Councils and will then advise the community as to how we can proceed.
