Young Saplings ready for planting

In the Autumn of 2019 West Hoathly Primary School received a selection of tree seedlings from the Woodland Trust.

These have been subsequently repotted twice and lovingly looked after by the School Gardening Club.

The saplings are approximately 75cm tall.

They are:

i) Silver birch ( Betula pendula )

ii) Wild Cherry ( Prunus avium ).

iii) Rowan ( Sorbus aucuparia ).

Parents from the school have taken some to plant in their gardens but we still have about 20 of each species left.

Could I encourage you to take some of the trees please ( in return for a small donation to gardening funds ).

I will happily deliver them to you or just pick them up from the front of the School.

Happy planting,

Derek Shurvell.

PS There are rabbit guards available as well.
