• Parish Council Vacancy
  There is a vacancy for a Parish Councillor.  Please see the attached notice.  If anyone is interested in the vacancy please contact the Parish Clerk.  Office Hours are Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays 9:00am - 12:00.  Telephone 01342 811301, e-mail: clerk@westhoathly.gov.uk.

• Christmas Tree Recycling
  Christmas trees can be recycled by taking them along to Finche FIeld Car Park between Monday 4th and Monday 18th Januray 2010.

• Realtime Bus Information from Metrobus
  It is now possible to get real time information for buses on routes 84 and 391 which serve Sharpthorne and West Hoathly either via the Web or via text message.  For details go the Metrobus Realtime Information Page

• Parish Futures Report
  The Parish Futures Group have now produced their report.  A summary will be sent to each household but a copy of the full report is available here.

• Tin Foil Recycling
  Residents in Mid Sussex are now able to recycle clean aluminium foil including takeaway and ready meal containers, household wrapping, cooking foil and milk bottle tops in the blue lidded recycling bins.  If uncertain whether something is foil do the scrunch test: fold or scrunch the material in the hand.  If it springs back its plastic and connot be recycled.
